Fine Needle Aspiration
Fine needle aspiration (FNA) is a minimally invasive diagnostic tool that helps clinicians arrive at a correct diagnosis in a timely and economical fashion. The procedure is not intended to replace surgical biopsy, but as an additional modality available to optimally plan patient management. All superficial masses in the breast, thyroid, salivary gland, and lymph nodes can be effectively aspirated and diagnosed at Allied Diagnostic’s FNA clinic. The services offered by this clinic are –

• Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy of all superficial lesions
• Rapid turn-around time for reports (24-48 working hours)
• Procedure performed by board certified and experienced cyto pathologists
• Telephone notification to providers on all rush and new cancer cases
